Arrived in Ajijic

The journey to Ajijic took about five hours. Our drive through Colima brought us close to an erupting volcano. As we drove, I took a photo of the eruption with my phone. Seeing it was an amazing experience. It would have been nice if I could have been closer, but at least I saw it erupt. Awe-inspiring.

 

I’ll be in Ajijic for a few days. This is a beautiful town to stroll around. The buildings are so colourful, I love them.

The owner of the butcher shop feeds scraps to the stray dogs every day. Sweet lady.
