Even though I would have liked to stay a little longer, I decided to leave Guanajuato and head back to Melaque.While traveling through Chapala, I stayed at Quinta Quetzalcoatl Boutique Hotel, where I stayed in a very luxurious room. Thanks to an upgrade, I received the D.H.Lawrence room, where Lawrence wrote The Plummed Serpent. The room had something truly magical about it, I barely slept.
